I always know it's gonna be a great show, but every time he exceeds expectations. Highlights were Thank You, Fell On Black Days (that cello player is so awesome!), Rusty Cage a la Johnny Cash, Billie Jean, Blow Up The Outside World, Hunger Strike (for a split second was thinking Ed could come out bc of the Cubs-Mets game in town, but knew it would actually not be a thing), and the other TOTD songs. Just a terrific night. Only complaint is no River of Deceit. I was really really bummed to not hear that one. Oh, and the annoying ladies next to us singing and whooping loudly, standing and dancing, etc, but they mysteriously left about halfway into the show, which everyone around us was happy about! But really can't complain, the show was SPECTACULAR per usual! Now I wanna go again tonight!

    It was a great night and so glad I got to go! Thx Sam! Too bad we missed river of deceit by 1 night. His voice is so amazing and love it stripped down with just the strings.

    At the Toronto show someone yelled out "Jesus Christ Pose" and he said "that isn't gonna happen" but then he played a bit of it and the crowd went nuts. Then he said something like "if Brian can play it on the cello he'll do it" A couple of songs later as Brian was walking out on stage he broke into the riff again. What a tease!!!

    Here are two videos I took at Boston Shubert Theatre. River of Deceit is almost complete. Let Your Eyes Wander is cut off at the end because I ran out of memory :(

    Let Your Eyes Wander is my current fav song from Higher Truth. I think in general the songs off the new album sound a lot better live and acoustic. I've really been enjoying them, despite not really loving them on first listen of the album.

    Fantastic. Pre-drinks were at bat to watch football. Dude w/ longer hair sits next to me w/ headphones on. Odd, but I watched ball and yelled at TV. Guy was Brian.

    Fell on Black Days w/ Cello is A fucking plus

    Crowd, was great. Small theater where drinks could be brought to seats. No obnoxious people.

    River of Deceit is great...whole show was great. He seemed very happy to play York, PA. He expressed his love of the Northeast of the country.

    No Jesus Christ Pose, no tease...didn't need it. Great show

    Saw the show in Atlanta last night. I have a renewed fascination and appreciation for his voice. It's like a sip of perfectly aged bourbon, sweet and slightly stinging and warms me up from the inside :).
    I never realized how funny and jovial he his. He made jokes about the Atlanta Symphony Hall looking like a set piece from Return of the Jedi. I loved all the arrangements with his cello player too. Great night.

    He must really like making star wars jokes. At the Strathmore bethesda MD show he was talking about the "box seats" and how they look like the pods from the jedi council and was telling people not to have "too much illigal fun in them" since you can't really see into them or something along those lines. He also said something about chewbaka but I can't remember what it was.

    Must really enjoy his star wars :lol:

    I attended the meet and greet, it was nice but short, then a friend got me a VIP ticket and had the chance to go to the after show, talked with Cornell for at least 20 mins, he gracefully signed my posters and talk about music, SG history, personal stories, etc, it was nothing short of amazing.

    So awesome, Jose. Drooooooooling with envy. I've seen him 5x so far on this tour, 3 more to go...Maybe he will acknowledge my sign by the 8th show lol.
