Was Lukin Wasted for his rendition of Happy Trails? Or was he just that goofy of a person?

Just listening to the boot, and he sounds so toasted.

this is a song for John Candy....he was a big fat bastard

after hearing this again...the song Lukin makes much more sense

this was my 1st PJ show - I didn't even know who Matt Lukin was then. The song Lukin wasn't even created yet. Anyway, he was a singer for another band right?

Anyway, the Happy Trails thing was weird and funny - I was fucked up myself during the show.

Matt Lukin was the founder bass player of The Melvins and then Mudhoney. He retired from music in 2001

Im actually watching this dvd now and Lukin doesnt seem wasted but they are drinking from red solo cups.

Its actually not a bad show on dvd.

That was my first PJ concert as well. Just an incredible show - one of the best I've ever seen. I remember it had a very intense feeling coming on the heels of Cobain's death. I had a good view of Lukin during "Happy Trails" and he looked pretty blitzed to me. Any other Jammers out there with memories of this show? Loved it when Ed smashed a hole in the stage and jumped through.
