Not my auction. I'm keeping mine :-)

Seems expensive though? What'd the last one go for?

I'll stick with my free, digital copy from the JWB. I realize value is subjective.... but $400 for a CD and $1000 posters/records are things I can't wrap my head around..... to each their own.
enjoy the music everyone and have a nice weekend

I don't know what this is worth. Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I'm a lucky owner of a copy, I paid $300 back in 2007, but the value was more sentimental than actual. With the large abundance of PJ live recordings out there, I find it hard that someone will pay $400-$600 for this, but you never know. I added myself to the "watch list" just out of curiosity.

I've been trying to get a hold of one of these and am willing to part with $250-$300 for one. This is probably the third one I've seen come up in the last year and the other two sold for $440.00 and $400.00 if I remember correctly.

I've tried offering $200 for the last 3 up for auction and were denied rather quickly. I want a copy opened as I already have a sealed.

So these really go for $400+ every time.

I wonder what a Freak would fetch now?

Bought at Best Buy? When did this come out? And how much did it go for?

It was a free giveaway from Best Buy when you purchased Yield. Was quickly pulled when they were told they didn't have permission to do so. It's a great show, but it's incomplete. Outside of the rarity I'm not sure what the big deal is. I'd rather listen to the complete show that JWB remastered.

The sound quality is incredibly better than the fm and pre-fm sources that all the bootlegs used (including the jwb remaster). Give Way sounds really good.

I guess it's kind of an official (almost official) release that has mythical status. A Live album that never came out.

Imagine if we found out the put some of the 1995 movies on official video tapes and then destroyed them all before releasing it. No one likes videotapes anymore but how collectable would that be.

Second that. The Give Way show sounds stellar. Best version I've heard. Plenty of FLAC out there sourced right from the CD itself. Save yourself a few hundred bucks. Seriously!

Yah it's pretty easy to find a FLAC copy of it (hence how we've all heard it). The price will always be insanely high because only a handful seemed to have escaped the order from Best Buy to destroy them all. Demand will always far outpace supply. I've tried to put in offers the odd time the show up on ebay but I lose out because I won't cross $300 for one...

    So what about FREAK?

    That one never comes around.

Who out there has access to pre 2000 soundboards?
