In the liner notes of Lost Dogs, he said "this song sounds so much better not on a 45". What do you think he means by that? why would he prefer the sound of the song on cd as opposed to vinyl?

Maybe he means the 12" Lost Dogs LP at 33.3

Probably didnt think it sounded as good on the Christmas single as it did on just a standard recording? I doubt it was anything more than that.

but why? not being an audiophile, I don't know the difference.

I always took it as he prefers sitting around a room and plucking a guitar, rather than play any type of recorded media version.

I think he knows that I would get the Xmas single in the Mystery vinyl Pack... But thinks I should have got Lost Dogs too.
