Crown of Thorns question

So, Boom has been an "un-official" member of the band for the past few years. After listening to the San Deigo boot last night I started thinking, Why are there no keys at the begining of Crown of Thorns? If its out of respect for Andy, I can understand, but I love those keys and I wish I could hear them with the song live.
Anyone feel me on this??

Yes ..I agree with you...and moreover, it´s strange because they did play the keyboard part the first time they played it back in 2000, with brendan o´brian

Boom is really lucky to be getting a paycheck. He's great on LBC, Crazy Mary, and Life Wasted Reprise....but beyond that, he's not needed.

anyway the only reasons i can think that they don't play the full version is that boom can't play it. either that or as some sort of mark of respect for andy.
Guess it's too personal for Ed to play. He probably wouldn't feel right with that bit added

...why is this personal for ed; this is one of the few things I have in common with vedder, neither of us ever met andy wood.
