Wow, I can't believe they've played every other song from Lost Dogs at one time or another besides those six. I didn't even realize.

I'm a big fan of Gremmie and Whale Song but they don't have much of a chance to be played. of the others, I'd have to say that Hitchhiker is my favorite.

no. here's the lost dogs that should be found soon ...

    Other Side
    Strangest Tribe
    Hold On
    In The Moonlight

gremmie, sweet lew, and whale song i dont ever need to hear live. they aren't serious songs at all. definitely wouldn't consider those show highlights.

oh and i wouldnt mind hitchhiker, but i dont really want to hear/see it.

but other side, strangest tribe, hold on, and in the moonlight NEED to be played.

    'moonlight' would be prettty cool
we don't want war, but we still want more?
  • The draw of Gremmie Out Of Control for me is that it is NOT serious. It would be a fun song with which to dance and shake your butt. I guess some people are too caught up in being an adult to be silly sometimes.

  • "In The Moonlight" would be absolutely sick, but it's relatively complex, as Matt's songs often are, and I don't know if they would be able to pull it off. Plus it has those great backing vocals, and they probably wouldn't be able to recreate them live with their golden throats.

Hold on!! kickin drums, a heavy riff,a sweet melody with harmonies, and some basic lyrical content that always "ups" my spirits!!! (even if it sounds some-what depressing). god I love the harmonies with it!!
  • My bet is they will bust out Hitchhiker next..

Out of this lot, Hitchhiker and Other Side would be my picks. And Hold On.

Edit: How could I have forgotten In The Moonlight?

Strangest Tribe is the number 1 Lost Dog I want to hear when I see them both nights at MSG. It is absolutely beautiful. I think it would be a perfect encore opener.
I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side.
I am right by your side.

Hold On would be so sweet and so would Otherside. But I don't think they'd ever do Hold On. Because it's got that "old" sound they used to have and I'm not sure how much they want to go back there. If they did it at Mansfield or Hartford though, I would probably break down and start crying like a little girl!!

I don't think they're all that adverse to revisiting their old material ... Pretty much all of Ten and Vs. are still in live rotation ... Hold On could happen, although I think Hitchhiker or In The Moonlight would be more likely.

hold on has been played 8 times since 1994, although the last time it was in '03 as a tag. i could see them playing this again, it's a great song!
