Best Equipment???

I'm going to go see Kevin Smith at one of his questionaires coming up and I really want to record it along with the other concerts I go to. But, does anyone have any suggestions of what equipment I should buy? Like I'm talking about a little recorder; inexpensive yet effective. What do you guys use? Any suggestions?
