Do you decompress when you get home from work?

Not anymore - used to in the early years but my attention waned over the past few.

    What about those kids?

Lol, you don't suck at this game...this happens frequently.

    About those kids: yes.

Did you go to prom when you were in high school?
Yes. I went to one. The guy I was with was getting a bit fumbly and while I was fine with a kiss, I was coming down with a sinus infection and was feeling a bit miserable. Besides, I didn't want to have that experience with a guy to be like that on the side of a road in my hometown. Later, I found that he was gay. Um, that about fits with the experience I had.

I used to. Haven't watched in a while.

Did you get Chris Cornell tickets today? (I did thanks to the help of a GREAT FRIEND!)

No and I'm envious! Would LOVE to see him in an intimate venue.

Will I be hitting up some acoustic Cornell later on because of this?
  • SD48277SD48277 Posts: 12,243
No, but I am VERY happy that you did! He is great in concert.

Do you think I will have any luck scoring tickets for Chris Cornell in tomorrow's AMEX sale?

I'm not sure. When we lived in Texas there was a storm which required us to get into the bathtub as it passed by but I'm not sure if that was a hurricane or a tornado! (I can't remember!)

    Have you experienced an earthquake?

Yes, I think people have heard my dark chocolate rant and are bored of it by now.

Do you bake to relieve stress? (it works well AND you get yummy stuff at the end of it)

Yes, though my kitchen is poorly laid out, so trying to bake actually stresses me out!

Yes. A Bad Religion show several years back did some damage to my right ear--and that was with earplugs.

Do you wear earplugs when you go to shows now?

I always bring them. Then I always forget them in the car. I was glad that I brought them to PJ though. We were about 7 feet from the speaker stack. I wore one in my right ear and not one in my left. (I was way down on Stone's side, so we had to turn to see anything anyhow.) Forgot them in the car for Hellyeah. Forgot them in the car for Pixies. Don't think I'll need them for J Roddy or Chris Cornell. If I wear them at Mayhem, I may get some flak for it.

My ears ring all the time. I can't specifically pinpoint a show that did it. I saw a lot of heavy metal back in the early 90's. My ears ring so loudly that I have to fall asleep with the TV on. My brain is too loud otherwise.

Circus peanuts are disgusting. They shouldn't be considered edible at all.

Did you have too much caffeine today? (Hint: I did.)
