In the middle of it now. Just had to stop to burn another disc of new music.

What is your favorite holiday cookie or dessert?

Iced sugar cookies (can't make them myself)

My fave that I can make are those brownie sandwich cookies you can make out of brownie mix. I add crushed peppermint candy canes into the cookie mix and then make a white chocolate/peppermint cream for the middle. Soft, chewy and creamy. So good.

Do people in your neighborhood put up a lot of outdoor Christmas decorations?
    I wouldn't say a lot, some

Do you have Christmas plates etc ( not plastic or paper)

I do. I didn't buy them. They were given to me as a thank you gift for shooting photos for a friend's CD. I use them for a Christmas lunch tea for friends and family and for a Christmas breakfast tea I have for K's birthday overnight friends.

Do you have holiday specific obligations this week?

Yes, when I was little. ( sadly embarrassing story alert).. my Aunt sprayed it with hair spray to 'keep' it.. and I didn't know that... I have never been able to sleep through the whole night... so I get up, and eat the whole stupid thing! I got soooooo sick!

    Same question.
  • Yes, I used to make them from scratch every year.

Have you made a snowman yet this year?

    No. Plenty of snow though.

I am. Just waiting on the last few items to arrive so I can ship what I shopped.

    Ever get oddly-timed food cravings?

(as in, it's not even 9am here and I can't stop thinking about a big bowl of hot & sour soup)

Yes - usually when I wake up in the middle of the night - things can get weird.

Anyone (else) not have a Christmas tree (if you celebrate) bought yet?

    Yep

Ever been in a road accident over Christmas time? I was in minibus late yesterday that hit a wind gust and ice patch and rolled with 18 of us in itn we were going very slow so no one really hurt just a couple of bumped heads. Thank god we had seat belts on! We were trapped in it for an hour while a mini blizzard raged outside. The rescuers were fantastic, it was blowing so hard we couldn't have got out otherwise!y!

That sounds really scary, I'm glad you and your friends are ok, be safe now.

Have you ever been the first to stop by an accident?

Yes. Luckily not a particularly terrible one but I have had to give first aid on a few occasions.

Do you have winter tires on your vehicle?

Nope. All season and it is 4WD. I'll have to replace my tires next fall. Not looking forward to it.

Are you done with work for the week?

They were in the tray, waiting for signatures. Since we need to buy K a violin in about a year and a half, it is going into the violin fund.

Do you make a yearly budget?
