I have never been to a baseball game, but I would probably not drink a whole lot of beer :)

Do you often go to baseball ?

No, although it does have a certain amount of dramatic potential.

    Are you currently job-hunting?

No, thank goodness. It can be so stressful.

Is a bit of mindless trash TV on the agenda for the day?

Does anyone know what dramatic potential is?

In my mind, yes (for what it's worth, I was thinking of the Chinese Restaurant ep of Seinfeld and George lacking a buffer zone).

Have you ever taken food off of someone else's plate without asking?

    Yes.

Have you ever had a massive fight with your boyfriend/girlfriend for doing that?

No - food is something neither of us has a problem sharing. Even if no asking, always politeness :)

Is it weird to have never had a massive fight with your partner over many years together? Disagreements, sure, many heated and pouty ones too...but none of those no-holds-barred things?

Have you had a bigger argument with someone on the forum than with your other half?

Not an argument per se, but have been sent some vitriolic and out-of-the-blue pm's from a handful of members over my time here. Never reported though; figured the anger was more about them than me.

Do you think that some words when spoken - or written - can't be taken back?
  • No

    Same question.

    Yes.

I'm mindful of the whole sticks and stones thing, but words and their intent are valuable to me...sometimes on a par with actions, depending on their effect and repercussions.

    Matter of degrees, I guess.

Did you know that William H. Macy chose his particular name so he wouldn't be confused with Bill Macy?

    (and then there's Maude!)

Have you ever turned to the back of a book to see how it ends?

Not since I was a kid, and even then, after the fact, felt disappointed that I went straight to instant gratification and deprived myself of the journey of the read.

Do you have a nice book-reading nook?

    (I need one)

No, I have a kindle that I won a few ago in a raffle.

Do you wear slippers in the house?

I meant a good spot for reading, but that'll do too :)

No (again not since I was a kid!) - prefer to barefoot it except for socks in the rare event it actually gets cold here.

    Do you own a snuggie?

No. What's wrong with a good, old fashioned blanket?

(and I have several cozy places to read in my house)

Have you had tea and scones anytime in the past year?

    Yes, but separately.

Did you just have a listen to some nice old satin-y disco?

(oh, ABBA! YOU are the dancing queens!)
