I don't think so...looks like a lot of people give the fan(s) a hard time...but I can see why Ani likes it...first pic is of one guy squeezing another guy's junk.

Have you been to your thread lately? (in the dark side)

    No - I don't have a band.

Is it better to burn out than to fade away?

    Yes

Do you think Pearl Jam is a fading band to real fans?
  • JogillJogill Posts: 4,549
Hmmmm, as a new fan, about a year old now, I have many thoughts on this subject.......
It was so interesting watching the band grow right now and wondering what happened along the way to each of them. The fire that ignited much of the early stuff seems missing, but that's what happens when people age. Their music has definitely evolved and all you die hard old fans will have so many answers that I don't want to know because I like finding them as I go thru the catalogue and learning what makes them tick. The 'fire in the belly' is definitely gone but the live concerts show how much of a drug live performing is for them, and you all I guess.
A band with members in their 50s needs to slow down but I don't know that fading is the right word....

Do you enjoy helping kids with sporting endeavours?
late PJ bloomer- what was I doing in the 90's that I didn't know who Pearl Jam was???

I LOVE French toast. The basic kind though - none of the stuffed or topped kind. Just straight on up.

Unfortunately, it takes me two or three failed batches to get it right.

Are you anticipating good food on the horizon?

Am considering making homemade pizza for dinner, so yes, although it's a lot of work.
