Yes, I'm related to Shawn Ashmore. Most notably he plays Iceman in the X-Men movies.

Not to interrupt the flow of things, but northerndragon may particularly appreciate that I am distantly related to Ross Rebagliati, our famous BC stoner/snowboarder.

    Yes...well, several short walks.

OK, walking to and from car for lunch, plus a couple smoke breaks in my work's parking lot =)

Is it weird that I just don't get the hoopla around Amy Schumer?

No, I think sometimes we just reach...a limit - our own limit.

Do you occasionally have a blast (safely) exceeding the speed limit?

Yes. There are certain stretches of road, and when the right song is on, watch out....

Ever had a page with zero unread posts?

Did you add more things to your 'to do' list today?

No. Didn't add anything, but didn't really accomplish anything either.

Is sitting down and listening to a full album considered an accomplishment for the day? :prayer:
  • oftenreadingoftenreading Posts: 12,845
Sure, it's a very zen accomplishment, if that isn't an oxymoron.

Have you ever clicked on the "Pics where Eddie Looks Hot" thread (or whatever the proper name is)?

Yes, I had to see the "white pants picture" everybody was talking about. Haven't been back since.

Do you think Rob honked Sara's boobs for me?

Well, I should be scrambling to get my daughter's room purged before she comes home. Her dad needed some help with kids at his fishing camp at work. She, however, is a HUGE packrat and I am pulling out the pitchfork . . . Sheets and blankets have been pulled from the bed, laundered and are out drying on the line. I've been giving our room a thorough clean first. Since it is a bedroom/office, it needed some paper purging.

Is it sunny and breezy with a reasonable temperature and a day to enjoy where you are?

Yes, saw footage actually - and while I support her efforts and anyone else pursuing their own minds at peace within themselves - it felt weird. Maybe shallow of me, but I couldn't reconcile the voice and odd-ish face/manner of speech with the words themselves. Wish I'd heard them without the visual - it detracted, in a way.

I'm a fan of single plantation, bean-to-bar producers. It's amazing the differences you can taste in chocolate produced in different areas when you have good quality chocolate to compare. My favourites tend to be in the 70% - 80% range; I don't like particularly sweet chocolate, but over about 85% it can get a little bitter. I'm a sucker for Madagascar chocolate, but have also had wonderful ones from Ecuador and even Vietnam.

Here's a little article about my source  .
