RIP Bears great and radio legend Doug Buffone

DB was found dead at the age of 70 in his home yesterday. To older Chicagoans he played very good linebaker for poor Bears teams from the mid 1960s all the way to the late 1790s. To younger people, he was known for his EPIC post-game rants along with his radio partner and fellow former Bear Ed O'Bradovic on the Score Sportsradio 670.
I met him once at the Horseshoe Casino and even though he lost a lot, he could not have been a nicer guy. He didn't work for the Bears but he bled for them, always wanted them to do well. If they didn't it made for GREAT radio. Here's a sample:
