Has anyone here caught any of these incredible 'Mats gigs I've been hearing about? Would love to hear about any shows some of you have been to. So glad to know Paul, Tommy and company are out there doing it!

saw them at the Hollywood Palladium on Weds and Thurs. Weds was a bit of a shorter show, but was still good. Thursday was longer, and Paul seemed to be in a better mood. Great setlists.

Glad you got to go, JOEJOEJOE. I ran into a guy yesterday who made it to the SF show. He said was a super energetic show. Good to hear these guys still have that kind of energy!

No! I had to work! Ahh! That puts me a little further from having a complete 'Mats vinyl collection though I can't complain- I have a lot of Replacements stuff . Maybe something affordable will show up on eBay or another site.

Just checked eBay- looks like there's already a bunch of them out there. Pretty sure I'll be able to pick one up this one favorite record store in the Bay Area next time I'm down there. I might bid on one in the meantime just for grins.

Don't go to eBay. It looks as though my record store may have a copy. I can check tomorrow, if you like.

Thanks, SD much appreciated! Let me check with my guy in San Rafael first. He knows I'm a 'Mats FANATIC- may have even kept one aside for me already.

Otherwise contact Cheapo in St. Paul, MN they had a pile of these left over yesterday. I know they have shipped stuff in the past. I think the price was $13.

Nice! I've been a P.W./'mats fan for so long and am so stoked that Paul and Tommy are doing tit again-- and not just in a weak way like some reunions but really going out and giving it some gas!

Does anyone have an extra ticket to the 4/30 Chicago show or 5/2 Milwaukee show that they're looking to sell?

Read over at Modern Vinyl that there will be 'Mats vinyl box sets released later this summer. One featuring the Twin Tone releases the other the Sire releases. Time to squirrel some cash away.

Excellent! I had hear about the CD box set but not about the vinyl. I hope it includes some unreleased stuff.

Here's a good question: If a less well known band like The Replacements can get all there stuff re-released on vinyl, why on earth can't...!!!

You guys know where I'm going with this!

Cool that you got to see them!

So many of us 'Mats fans thought we'd never even get this much so it was excellent. Tommy has a full schedule coming up with various projects which is cool. I just I hope Paul will consider doing some more home studio work at least. I was just listening to Mono/Stereo today and digging it so much.

Saw them last week in Amsterdam at the Paradiso. Definitely one of the best shows I've ever seen anywhere. Really cool vibe, lots of people from around Europe and the US. I think the dutch were in a minority. The setlist was amazing, everything you could ask for and the energy unbelievable. Discovered the band in the last 1 - 2 years, but luckily it was not too late.

Quite simply the definition of a rock band. Intense, reckless, sloppy, goofy, serious, and most importantly--unpredictable.
