The box sets of the tour bootlegs contain silver pressed CDs (i.e. professionally made) whereas buying them individually, they come on CD-R's.
We have been gathering folks together to purchase individual bootlegs from within the box set so that people can have silver-pressed CDs of shows they went to, interested in, etc. Once a box set fills up with "reservations," we all pay derbydave and he purchases the box set (or someone, but usually Dave). When he receives the box set, he divvies up the boots that folks reserved and ships them out to us.

I'm more than happy to continue updating the thread and heading up these boxsets...
BUT I don't have any bootlegs reserved for this round.
IF someone else is interested in taking over or would like to take charge of this round,
I'm fine with that too!!
We've always chosen someone that lives in the US to cut down on customs charges,
and it kind of makes sense for the person who is ordering the most bootleg sets from the boxset to be in charge of ordering and shipping these out to the rest of the members.
Again...I'd be fine with finishing up this boxset...
I'm not dropping out on everyone involved,
but if you really want to takeover this effort,
that works for me too!!

There's also a thread for the 2014 tour, so be sure to check it out. While you're certainly welcome to reserve whichever boots you want, keep in mind that if you want a popular show, the wait could be longer than if you just want something to listen to. I'm sure you understand.

I certainly don't want to speak out of turn, but if you order a bunch, you *may* be able to sweet-talk your way into getting one of the boxes. I'm not sure who gets the boxes or how they're divided up, but it's worth the ask.

Keep in mind that the silver CDs are generally higher quality and last longer. I plan on eventually framing the CDr whereas I'll have the silver CD to listen to.

I can't imagine a 2015 box set of silver CDs, but hopefully there'll be one for 2016! -- Previous years had box sets, but those weren't silver CDs. The 2010 box set is still available, but if there even was a 2009 box set, it appears to be long gone.


My idea was that the Wishlist Foundation pre-parties would accept these CDs as items for the raffles they do before shows. My thought was that people could buy some of these to "fill out the boxes" and then just donate them to the various causes. -- Well, I checked with the Wishlist people and they can't accept anything for sale at the shop. Oh well...life goes on.
