Both times I've seen them supporting Alter Bridge the singer lip-synced half the set, not cool.

I've seen them a few times,up close also and I never saw any of that in person.Maybe you had a delay on the video screen? They are pretty straight forward and very talented musicians.

Definitely not cool, then again neither is Shinedown, but it happens a lot more than youd think. I can almost forgive older singers that use it for reinforcement, but it's choad out move for the most part.

He's renowned for it, and these were small enough shows that I could see him up close. Plus he would sound very much live on the verses choosing to hit lower notes than the recorded versions, wandering off the melody, then suddenly he was able to hit all the big notes in the chorus, pitch perfect.

Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge even alluded to it in an interview when asked about the lengths he goes to to maintain his voice, and without mentioning names he said there was one particular singer he toured with who was using backing tracks, and how he thought that was cheating the audience.

Ya, that pretty much sealed my fate with seeing this band. I don't pay to see lipsync acts
