April 5th - The Day The Music Died

1994. The estimated date that Kurt Cobain died.
2002. The estimated date that Layne Staley died. It is really too bad that Layne gets overlooked because who he shares this day with.

I didn't know this until today, but Mike McCready shares his birthday with the deaths of both.

yeah def. one of the worse days in music history (except for Mike being born). The only other day i can think of which is also just as bad is Dec. 8. Lennon and Dimebag died.

Wife and I were on vacation in Seattle when Staley died. Pretty sad to be there at that time.
