Amazing how cool things happen when someone doesn't auction setlists starting at $400 a pop.
Best thread on Lost Dogs in a long time and very helpful for PJ history.

Still hoping that he can make some high resolution scans for everyone.0

I will try to scan them in this week and post them or a link from my office. Hopefully it will result in the quality you are desiring. One of my employees assured me his computer is hooked up properly to do that. I will do my best to get it done in a timely fashion.tempo_n_groove said:

I have scanned in all of the setlists to PDFs and JPGs and had time to update the images from 1995-1998. Those were 16 of the 33 setlists. Those were some amazing and memorable tours for us. So almost half of them have been updated with better images! I will hopefully have a few spare minutes tomorrow to finish the other half from 2000-2009. I hope the quality improvement is what some of you were looking for.Post edited by steved on1994 - Pensacola, Miami, Atlanta - 1995 - Milwaukee, Milwaukee, New Orleans (Tickets to Phoenix, Las Cruces, Austin, Shows Canceled) - 1996 - Randalls Island, Randalls Island, Charlotte, N.Charleston, Ft. VERY VERY cool thread... and yeah this collection is up there with some of the better ones out there... and love this reply quote as well... as so many people like myself have less than a handful of huge memorable lucky pj moments... but 33 setlists... that's pretty fn' sweet...not to mention the drumstix and g picks... wowPJ212 said:
Thank you so much for posting your setlists. Amazing collection. One of the biggest thrills I've ever experienced at any concert was Mike stretching his arm across the space between the stage and the front rail and handing me his setlist at the end of the show in Tulsa this past year. Knowing that you've experienced that feeling 33 times blows my mind.steved said:
No secret. Just good seats a lot of shows and persistance!mcgruff10 said:What s your secret to getting all these set lists?
Good seats and persistence is true. I worked for that setlist that night. Jumped when no else was jumping, attempted to scream lyrics louder than anyone else around me, kept jumping, laughed with my friends, more jumping, more screaming, more laughing and dancing with strangers around us, passed water (or wine) to everyone when it came by, jumped as high as I could when Mike commanded us. Even if a setlist hadn't been handed down it still would've been an awesome experience, but it's just cool that the show ended on that note.
Great thread.0 -
I would never compare these two things. I have no problems with the auction going on, and think that those items are once in a lifetime items. My first show was spring 94, so the chance to get my first ever concert in an original handwritten setlist is huge (as you can tell I really like them.)LOL!wpg pearl said:

My point of doing this was to share!
For whatever that is worth. If somebody else did this and it was my first ever show and I could get a, as you said " a copy of a copy" that would still be exciting for me. That is why I did it. To others it may not appeal to them.
Certainly can't compare the two, I agree completely!!!Post edited by steved on1994 - Pensacola, Miami, Atlanta - 1995 - Milwaukee, Milwaukee, New Orleans (Tickets to Phoenix, Las Cruces, Austin, Shows Canceled) - 1996 - Randalls Island, Randalls Island, Charlotte, N.Charleston, Ft. Thanks Steve, you put it perfectly. Someone cant let go above there which is a shame. Its unfortunate that the idea of something handwritten by a living legend which is from a part of this great bands history is so hard to understand.steved said:

it is of course awesome what you have done .. And I hope that the buyers follow suit on the handwritten ones. It was thought that anyone paying well for them had the right to be the ones making that choice though

Although Pearl jam has always been My wife Nina and my first love as far as bands go, we have many bands we love and have traveled and enjoyed over the years. As I am going through my stuff I have found over 100 Setlists, and photos with several musicians. The seventy or so Pearl Jam guitar pics that I have is only about half or a third of the over all pics. All sorts of crazy memorabilia from wine bottles to mic stands, guitars, posters, signed pictures and many other cool things. This has been a really nostalgic week for me to live all of these memories again! Thanks for having a community here to be a part of, to get me off my ass and think about this stuff again! It has been sitting in boxes for a little too long, and deserves to start getting framed and enjoyed again.Post edited by steved on1994 - Pensacola, Miami, Atlanta - 1995 - Milwaukee, Milwaukee, New Orleans (Tickets to Phoenix, Las Cruces, Austin, Shows Canceled) - 1996 - Randalls Island, Randalls Island, Charlotte, N.Charleston, Ft. This was my band Idle Time back stage with Chad Smith in a show in Orlando. He invited my wife and I back stage to the Foo Fighters / Peppers show earlier that night and then attended our show later that evening.
Chad Smith from The Red Hot Chili Peppers is an amazing guy who helped my band for many years, invited me into his home, and backstage many times. I have tons of stuff from him and here are just a few.
Above is my backstage pass and setlist from a show that Chad invited my wife and I to fly up to Philly in May of '99 when John just joined the band again, right as Californication was coming out and they were doing a couple club promo shows. He was looking for an unbiased review of the album and Frusciante's playing as he was mostly surrounded by "yes" men. We went to a dive restaurant after the show where he commenced to play pinball and watch a Detroit Red Wings game as we talked about the show
This is a Setlist from the One Hot Minute Tour in February of 96 with Dave Navarro on Guitar. We flew up to Troy, Ny and Mass. I love how Chad scribbled in "Take a shit" during the Encore break.

We have always been fans of STP. I had an opportunity to play on stage with them in a concert in Florida at a festival called Livestock in Zephyrhills in April of 2002. I finished the set playing guitar on Sex type Thing. It was a real thrill for me!
I took this photo in West Palm during the Tiny Music Tour in '96.

We have always been big Jane's Addiction fans. We had extreme excitement for their return in 1997. As it was a slow Pearl Jam year we attended 6 shows on their tour starting in New York and going all the way to their Enit festival in San Francisco. We got all kinds of great memorabilia along the way. Signed drum heads, guitar pics, Setlists to every single show, Dave Navarro's Vibrator that he would use to play the guitar with to start off "Ted, just admit it" and the last night we got Perry's wine bottle with about half of it still full and filled with mushrooms. It has a price tag of $450.00 on it! Really Fun few weeks!
This was the Setlist of the official opening night of their "Relapse" or "Its My Party" Tour. 10.30.97
Nina and I and Stephen Perkins (Drummer for Jane's and P4P)
Dave Navarro's Vibrator he used to play the intro to "Ted, Just Admit It". I often wondered did he have many of these hanging around, as he gave it to us he must have needed another one for the next gig! As huge fans of Jane's Addiction I think we actually listen to Porno for Pyros second album Good God's/: Urge Tour the most. It is sad there is not that much out there as far as live stuff.
Setlist to their acoustic set at what they called Club Lollapalooza. It was a side stage in West Palm in June of '97 right before Jane's reunited. This would be the final shows for P4P.
My other Woodstock ticket stub this one signed by Stephen Perkins. Stephen saw that the first one was signed by Chad Smith so after signing it he wrote "We Love Chad" on it. My bro and I made that trip and those were the two bands I think were most excited to see at the time. Chris Cornell / Soundgarden / TOD / Audioslve
What can you say with that catalog of music! We have always followed Chris to see shows regardless of his band.
This Setlist above is cool because November 3rd is my Birthday and November 4th is my sober Birthday! Chris has always been awesome as far as requests have been concerned! On this night in Orlando I had a sign for "The Day I Tried To Live" which had not been played much if not at all at that point, and he played it! In addition to that we had a sign for "Pretty Noose'" for my brother, which was on the Setlist and was played. Chris has been more accommodating than any artist in my opinion as far as requests go. I suppose during the solo part of his career he has that flexibility.
My wife or I have requested songs in Orlando, Milwaukee, Tampa, and Miami. He has never not come through. All songs that were not on the Setlist!
This was us backstage with Chris at a Soundgarden show last summer in West Palm.
Hung out for almost 20 minutes just the three of us.Post edited by steved on1994 - Pensacola, Miami, Atlanta - 1995 - Milwaukee, Milwaukee, New Orleans (Tickets to Phoenix, Las Cruces, Austin, Shows Canceled) - 1996 - Randalls Island, Randalls Island, Charlotte, N.Charleston, Ft.
