  • Go back to sleep rr. Not really contributing to the overall conversation and just filling your need to take personal shots. I admit, I come here for reasonable discussions, bringing about awareness, merely attempting to open up a conversation. But you guys, sheesh, some of you guys are so friggen nasty. I have never said I was perfect, even if I do come across sometimes harshly. I want to debate and discuss, and open some of you guys up for ideas, but some of you, you just want to tear down. Refer to my Why are people so nasty thread.

Hedonist, you're probably a fine person, but there is no room for us to connect, obviously. You don't see my point, like at all, and your point was never explained (why you feel that killing a person when there are four cops on him is justified. It all goes back to that and you know it. You just refused to converse.)

My goodness! Again with the passive-aggressiveness.

"I'm trying so hard to enlighten you all, but you people are just so...so mean!"

Come on already. A bit much with this coming back to me over and again and taking potshots at anyone with a differing opinion. Yes, that's constructive.

I spoke my mind clearly in that thread and I believe in this one too. Disagree? So be it. I've also asked, in your lust for clarification, to specify exactly what you wanted to know beyond what I'd already said. If you can't, then please drop it.

And the conservatives win yet again!

The attempts to get away from being pinpointed with direct questions drive conservatives wild, we all know. Watch any republican politician squirm and turn any direct question into another topic altogether just to make it look like they're answering it… Spinning it… That is hedonist here. For the record, there is no passive-agressiveness, there is just questions not being answered (from weeks ago), and an impossibility of even attempting of meeting halfway. And what opinion are you even talking about? You have been spinning this entire time, you haven't even mentioned any opinion because you do nothing but piggyback! Speak your mind clearly where?!

You and your angry friend rr, you can both have yourselves a delightful evening. I know I will. :get_outta_here:

Oh for fuck's sake...we've officially shifted from the weird to hilarious. You have not asked me anything directly. I say - yet again - go for it, please!

Seriously, laughing here at this absurdity. Just wild.

Hope you can let it go.

  • Hedonist, if you can't see my point, and it all began with the Wisconsin thread, then perhaps there is no point of trying to get to middle ground.

ETA: Kinda defeats the point in meeting of the minds, doesn't it? It takes work to meet half way, it means rather than just saying our minds are open, it means altering our perspective, and using reason to actually meet half way.

    But I'm still, Movin' on...

but middle ground has never seemed to me your point at all. it has always come across as you wanting everyone else to see YOUR ground.

new album "Cigarettes" out Spring 2025!

    This thread is done.

AGAIN, people are failing to discuss the topic instead of discussing each other. Continuing to snipe at each other will cause accounts to be read-only in the forums...and it will happen by your own words. It's going to be awfully quiet around here.............
