So....Outside Lands and Lolla were the last two summer festivals to announce line-ups, right?

No PJ headlining a summer festival.

Just SA in November? Surely not, right?!

Definitely the best lineup, IMO, out of the big festivals. It's tempting, cause it's decently close, but already sold out and the trip would be expensive, so I'll pass.

ACL hasn't been announced yet. Think it usually gets announced in April or Early May.

Outside of 4-5 acts, I think the lineup looks terrible. Also the headliners are pretty meh. Pitchfork is the best Chicago fest of the Summer.

The bigger the growth of festivals in the U.S., the less impressive the line-ups. There aren't many bands that haven't already headlined the various festivals. Seems as if AC DC, The Who, Elton John & Billy Joel are the only festival rarities this year.

I think Shaky Knees, Osheaga, and Boston Calling are tops this year, but overall a very very week year for festival line ups.

Shaky Knees is the best. Outside of a few acts here, I can see everyone when they come by and tour Philly. This year is pretty weak.

For me it's easily the best of the summer. There are 20 acts that I would like to see on there. Lolla looks just alright to me, and I know they they have the worst overlap of all the festivals.

TOTALLY agree on Shaky Knees and Boston Calling! Although I would be even happier if they did book some rap/hip hop artists, but I get that many don't agree.

Slayer is one of my favorite live bands. They come out and just rip your face off for 90 minutes.

This lineup looks pretty sick, I need to try and convince my wife to make a trip. I doubt the wall of death will help convince her though.

Lolla was insane. Won last minute tickets, never been to a big music festival before (admittedly not the biggest fan of them). But it was close, found a cheap hotel a 40 min train ride away, and my bf and I agreed it was a pretty fantastic lineup. The music was amazing, but the heat and humidity were BRUTAL. It definitely took away from the experience a little bit. At times I was more concerned with resting/sitting in the shade/finding the water fill up station than catching another band. But we still ended up seeing SO many terrific artists, and had an awesome time at each set we caught--I don't think we heard a note of bad music (minus Perry's stage bleeding out into, well, everywhere!) The highlight was being within a few rows of the front for Sir Paul with some great PJ friends! Just amazing to see him from so close, in such a setting, with so many people. He is the best, there is no show quite like his. All in all, bands seen were: Jamestown Revival, Glass Animals, Father John Misty, Alabama Shakes, Paul McCartney, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Toro y Moi, Elle King, Tame Impala, Metallica, The Wombats, Strand of Oaks, Of Monsters & Men, TV on the Radio.

Also gotta give a shout out to the lobster corn dog we ate from chef Graham Elliot's booth. Holy balls.

Would I do it again? It's the type of thing where I'd say no, but then probably end up doing it again in a heartbeat.
