agree 100%. just absurd not to go 2 for 1 there. I also think ND should have given a foul and put Kentucky on the line for a one-and-one instead of letting them take the clock down to under 10 seconds late. I know coaches never do it but there was little chance in the situation Kentucky wasn't scoring. coaches are also calling way too many timeouts before late game situations and are routinely getting stuck with no timeouts for the last possession. You have to make sure you have one late.

Also Grant came up small late. 4 bad possessions by him. he got bailed out on the one hitting the long 3 at end of the shot clock but the others were terrible. last play guys never pass in the ball in that situation but they should almost always pass it. he had 3 guys around him. pass the ball. and if not pass you sure as shit can't dribble into the corner.

college basketball has to do something about the timeouts. with tv timeouts there are now 20 timeouts per game if the coaches use all of theirs. it's absurd and there is no flow to the games in the last 10 minutes. over coaching and too long tv timeouts.

I, for this game, that i agree that ND could've fouled. Why not when you're a BIG underdog? I'm sure if you asked ND before the game, that you could be down 2 pt.s with the chance, and with ample time on the shot clock, with about 15-20 seconds left, would they take it? I say hell yes. Yeah, with 5 timeouts for EACH team, plus the 8 TV timeouts how can you not have any TO's left? I think Brey is a good coach but to have no TO's?

Yeah, it's kind of easy for us , but it's kinda hard if you're actually in it. Grant could've passed it but i'm not gonna kill Grant for it, but you're correct: why did he dribble into the DEEP corner?

I've been complaining about the amount of timeouts for years, but it's never gonna change and you know why?$$$$$$$$>MONEY of course. TV has too much say. Plus, the control freaks (AKA: coaches) would never want less timeouts. In fact, they probably would like to have 10 timeouts>LOL>But like you said: there's no flow to the game.
