How to open RAR files

Can someone walk me through on how to open a boot in rar format.Only know how to open zip files.Do I need to download a converter.I use Itunes,don't know how to take file from my documents to Itunes.

    when u download of that megaupload site click open with winwar, then extract to yer itoons.
