I am so sorry. I had an axle issue with an SUV and that was no fun. I can't imagine how much this sucks for you. Was told mine was rare, too but I was also asked if we brine roads. (I also had a spring snap on the back driver's side.) doubt it. the bag rides on a heavy duty plastic cylinder at the bottom as it inflates/deflates. was told, usually when these blow its due to a little rock or something like that getting kicked up in there and as the bag expands, it creates a defect/weak spot that cant handle the pressure.both times I had just hooked up to a trailer and the air system was leveling off the trailer. fortunately I was on the opposite side of the trailer when these blew. super loud, sounds like a cannon or those fireworks shells with no sparkly stuff.Post edited by mickeyrat on_____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

When my husband and I lived above the Cuyahoga Valley and worked in the park, we both hit deer with our vehicles. M hit one with his Toyota truck. Killed the deer. I hit one in the lil bare bones Tercel we owned and while I did not kill it, I also didn't damage the Tercel either. Scared us both though.2014: Cincinnati

Maybe coud have updated and chronicled my journey with Total Knee Replacement as I worked to get back on the road.So Dec 10 I had the surgery. The first 3 weeks absolutely sucked. Everyone I talked to glossed over that part. First couple days the problem was the pain from the tourniquet placed on my thigh to cut off blood flow so he had a clean field to work in. 87 minutes. Was given oxycodone 5mg to deal with pain. 1 every 6 hours. by day 3 when the nerve block finally wore off that wasnt enough. Called in and they bumped me to 10 mg every 6 hours. Being an alcoholic/drug addict you can imagine my obvous concern. My wife, a nurse, was my dispensary for this the whole time.The surgeon told me he exerienced a first in his career. The use battery tools like a sawzall or the equivalent for this type of surgery. He said my bones were so dense he depleted one battery and came close to depleting a second. In addition, he used implants that are twice the size as he normally uses. Now I didnt ask if this was comparable to other mid 50's men, will try to remember when I see him again for follow up in 3 months.I may have had a better recovery if I had actually been diligent in the home exercise. I fucked that off. Still am going back to work next monday at 12 weeks post surgery. The only concern for me being keeping the knee in one position for up to 4 hours at a stretch. I do have room for movement in my truck so will look to move as much as possible wen needed.PT has been "fun" . I like my guy and will use him specifically in the future if needed. Maybe a hip or shoulder if the arthritis gets bad enough. Last few sessions he has been trying to simulate work situations like climbing into the truck , to strengthen the thigh etc... Its been helpful. The last 2 times I have pushed a sled with weight about 80 yards total. First was 160lbs on turf with rubber pellets under and then today was 170lbs. 4 more total sessions with him.Got off the drug on the 12th. tok drug test on the 19th and found out it came back clean , which was expected by me. Next up is medical card certification physical on friday , submit a copy of that card to the state and then turn a copy of that in to work. I have asked about a shift this weekend if its available to reacclimate after being off 3 months. Really been off since thanksgiving. Weekend work is less pressure , I can take my time and drive daytime hours.Figure its a good way to get back in the swing of things.Anywho, get out of the way.
