OK, so I think it's time for me to figure out how to get to La Plata day of concert... I'm only looking for one-way day of concert with return next day. Will it be difficult getting bus ticket a few days in advance? Anyone know how often bus service runs with train out of service?

    Happy PJ25!

Last time at La Plata we got a coach from the coach station (Retiro?) there were lots of them during the day of the show but we booked in advance one day before. Nice walk from coach station in La Plata to venue - easy grid layout of streets. You do right to stay over in La Plata for a night as the traffic was dreadful on the way back even after midnight. Be careful though somone attempted to rob us outside the BA coach station where it was crowded.

Is anyone planning group transport from Copacabana to Maracana and back in RIO? We would add 2 to anyones plans for sure. Trains and Metro shut last time by the time the show finished at the Apotese.

The shows seem to have a start time of 9 pm for this tour. Means PJ will be pretty late finishing. way after midnight if we get support band and full LB tour performance.

Now I'm confused ... But with other comments in mind about traffic and robbery I'm definitely sure about the bus ... So please someone let us know if there is a bus with room for four people and where it leaves from and what time

I'm not sure if this was already posted, but Global Citizens has free tickets to a few shows. You can enter a drawing by using your points. https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/artists/pearl-jam/

Brazil tickets went down for us Americans because the real (Brazilian currency) went into freefall a few months back. Still averaging around $100 + fees though...

Just checking on whether the stadium in La Plata sells food/beer. I'm assuming it does but wanted to make sure. Thanks.

Due to local legislation, alcohol sale is forbidden inside the stadium.

  • Does anyone know if these shows are going to be broadcast?
I remember all three shows of 2013 were live, either on the radio or the web...

i didn't buy tickets with the 10c discount, and it turns out that by waiting all these months and with the exchange rate, I basically still got the discount :P

Brazilians get 50% off if they're students or over 60 years old (I think it's 60...I could be wrong though), so that at least makes the tickets a bit more reasonable for some of the population. But yeah, overall, the Brazilian ticket prices are criminally high.
