Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly

Just wanted to start a thread for this. I love "The Blacker the Berry," as well as "i" and the track he did on Colbert (both of which aren't yet confirmed as being on the new record). I'm really looking forward to hearing the whole finished product. I hate to have great expectations of any artist but I have them for this album for sure.

Hopefully that Colbert song is one of the tracks. love that shit.

Dude, that song was next-level. The fact that he said he was unsure whether or not it would make the album and that it was just something he liked the sound of has me excited for what definitely made the album.

Like you said, though, I also hope that track made it.

Thanks, Nami! The looks on Kendrick's face as he's continuously caught off guard by the questions are priceless. Not to mention Nardwuar always referring to him by his full name.

11 Grammy nominations for Lamar and To Pimp A Butterfly! More than Taylor Swift... that's exciting! Only a few others I'm super happy about (Glen Hansard, Alabama Shakes and I'll admit to loving Uptown Funk), but there are way more nominations that mystify or annoy me. So it always is with the Grammys, but congrats to Lamar, so well deserved!
