Damn, talk about bad timing.......... I would take this but have to spend that in UK value on a damp proof course for the house I've bought.........

Number 10. Surely that means something extra to someone.
The myth of the foil numbering: Supposedly, the lower the number, the better the pressing as the records supposedly lose a bit of quality with each pressing. I believed this for years. Until somebody presented me with such an obvious piece of info. I couldn't believe I didn't see it long ago: Just because the box or jacket says #10 (or whatever the number) does not mean that the vinyl discs inside were the 10th ones off the press. It's never been said as fact that a number on the cover has any corresponding relationship to the vinyl circles inside.
Anyways, when I heard this it made total sense to me. I seriously doubt the manufacturers go through the hassle of matching the cover # with the order in which the discs come off the press.
BUT, it's still cool to have a low number. It just is. Deal.

and how do you (collectors) feel about print art AP #1 (or similarly low)? those BK PJ20 #1 prints sold way higher than average... and I wish I had the dough at the time...
