I noticed that Amazon.com has the same author's work and titled book from a 1998 edition ...... wonder what makes the 2015 release different?

Looks like there won't be anything new text in the new reprint edition.

The one up on Amazon USA is the 5th edition March 23, 2010 http://www.amazon.com/Pearl-Jam-Eddie-Vedder-Fragile/dp/0859654443 has 192 pages.

The new reprint edition coming September 15th .. http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/pearl-jam-and-eddie-vedder-none-too-fragile-martin-clarke/1104543402?ean=9780859655392 .. lists that there is 192 pages as well.

I just finished this book after finding it in a used book store. It was amazing how many mistakes were in it. Like most of us here, I am well-versed in PJ history to an almost ridiculous point. However, even a casual fan would find themselves at many points in the text correcting the author and editors. Really bad.

I agree. didn't it regurgitate that old "pearl jam is ed's gramma and her hallucinogenic recipe" nonsense?

The PJ20 book to me is the best of what's been published.

I can't see that video at work, but can I assume it's George Costanza and Rebecca Damornay? LOL

Haha! It's Dwight from The Office (US) where he shuns a co-worker.

I was just thinking of The Office today, and how much I miss that show (when Michael Scott was still a character).

Haven't read this one yet but just got a copy of the reprinted edition. Did a quick glance to the back of the book and can confirm that it has been updated. The second last page mentions the Global Citizen Festival and the 2015 SA Tour.
  • Total fucking hack job. Nothing in it is accurate outside of stuff the author read or saw in PJ20. Terrible.
