Is it really a bootleg? It's a fan art. So if art shows from all around the world draw & sell something for an art show is it really called a bootleg?

Hero Complex Galary is legit company.

I tend to like the posters from Eddie's shows better than PJ's. And this one is absolute rubbish, boootleg or not!

Aside from the 2011 Chicago Theater and the 2008/2009 tour posters.....
I think his solo show posters look like bad 70's comic book art.....
    but to each his/her own.

I love how people are telling people not to buy something they want because it's a "bootleg". You know how many fucken bootleg CDs I have? I don't think I would've been so into pj if it wasn't for the bootlegs I got in high school/college. Buy whatever the fuck you want.

I think its worth noting that its not just some random blow hard forum troller that made the comment but rather someone that works closely with the band at 10c headquarters.

He asked not to purchase/support bootlegging plain and simple. Buy what you want but consider the source of the request before lashing out !

I just find it interesting that almost every PJ album has been bootlegged on vinyl, but we haven't received any warning "not to buy" that I can remember.
However, artist puts out a small run of 45 posters @ $45 a pop and then we get the warning.
I just can't figure it out. what is this guy gonna make 2 grand for making a better poster than most of the official stuff? that's gonna kill the band?

I think all SLH was trying to say is that the poster wasn't commissioned by 10c or the band, and the artist is taking advantage of the brand.

I work branding everyday, I can see why 10C or the band wouldn't want to be associated with something they had no control over.

I can see what you are saying...
but if they are serious about it, they should go after the vinyl bootleggers
that is a huge market they are losing out on compared to 1 poster.
that was my main point that was probably lost in my harshness.

Pretty unremarkable poster that breaks copyright laws. Yay.

I can't believe that anyone thinks it's appropriate to post bootlegged art on the website that is owned and controlled by the ones whose copyrights are being infringed upon, lol, nor that anyone would be pissed that the mods on the site ask that people not buy it. SMH.

Sorry, artist?? Don't you mean bootlegger? This is NOT fan art. This is stolen art. The person stole someone else's copyrighted photo, digitally treated it (looks like shit btw), put a red frame around it, and then stole Pearl Jam's song lyrics and slapped them on the bottom, and is selling it for $45 a pop, and for some reason the thief is being called an artist. Wtf?

Like I said the comment came form a guy that works at 10c headquarters. That's all I am saying.

You are right do, say, buy what you want b/c NO ONE really cares.

Wait, WHAT? Who's the source? Jesus? Ghandi? The Pope? 81? Gotti? Are you fucken kidding me? I'll buy whatever the fuck I want, say any opinion I want within reason/rules. You want to slap my hand like I'm 5? Jesus, oh my.
    You obviously do.

Edit-and I'm supposed to silence myself because some guy in the 10C says so. Fuck out of here man. He's just like you and me. Although he works for the band we follow. Maybe they should worry about getting "official" stuff people bought off the site in a timely manner. Or better quality control on products then worrying about some print a fan made.
All he did was post one polite comment.

Who the fuck cares? So what, the guy made a couple of prints that some people bought. Buy whatever the fuck u want to buy and let others buy whatever the fuck they want to buy. You want to go around slapping hands of everyone who buys or posts something about bootleg "art" or whatever you want to call it?
