It's raining. Kids are in my tent. I would pass the time with the wife but they won't leave. And now I fucked up night 1. I told my 6 year old a ghost story. She decided she is sleeping in our tent. Fuck. No sleeping bag fun with the queen.

Didn't have NYF'sRootBeer today but they had a case of Coney Island Root Beer left so I snagged 2 six packs. Not as sweet as NYFsRB and while that means the first one doesnt taste quite as good it might mean I can drink more than 2 without going to something else and coming back later.
Pretty tasty. I dont recall the brewer of the first one I tried but this is 3.
Something tells me that in a month there will be 8 kinds to choose from.

Empty - my nephew made contact consistently this year with the Easton I bought him last year for $100. He started borrowing one of the kids' Mako and started hitting like shit. Went back to the Easton....made all stars in his 2nd year playing...and they want him to play fall ball now instead of football. He is still pushing for the Mako but I told him I'm not buying it for him. Save his own money. (That is how he got his iPod after 2 years of saving.)

I'm not buying one till he's a little older. I don't want him to out grow it quickly. He hits pretty well now, so we're sticking with what we have. The Mako on our team was used by 4 kids. Only 1 really hit with it. He sees that the bat doesn't hit the ball, you have to get the barrel there. Fuckin ball jumps though.

Anyway, I drop 4 bills on a bat my kid is using it. It won't be a team bat
