Happy 20th Anniversary to, in my opinion, the best of the Vitalogy Japan shows! This show is fantastic start to finish. The band is on fire and Eddie's voice sounds amazing. Despite feeling sick.
Release has VERY extended intro. Nearly 2 and half minutes before Eddie starts in with the lyrics.
A great version of I Got Shit is played for the first time. And the version of Porch is my 2nd favorite version of all time. Only the version from St. Petersburg Florida in 94 I love more! But this Osaka version is lonnnnnng and has Catholic Boy riffs and lyrics. It sounds amazing!
I have 2 different bootlegs of this show, and both feature fantastic sound. "Totally Destroys Osaka" and "In The Land Of The Rising Sun".
02/21/95 - Kosei Nenkin Kaikan: Osaka, Japan [110m]
set: Release, Go, Last Exit, Tremor Christ, Corduroy, Lukin, Even Flow, Glorified G, Daughter/(I Don't Know About the Future), Alive, I Got Shit, Whipping, Jeremy, Animal, Blood, Improv, Porch/(Catholic Boys)
enc: Satan's Bed, Spin the Black Circle, Sonic Reducer, Footsteps, Rearviewmirror, Indifference
notes: Despite Ed having an upset stomach, this was a good show with an interesting setlist. 'I Got Shit' is played for the first time. A snippet from 'Catholic Boys' is intermingled with the 'Porch' jam. More sorrow is expressed about the earthquake and Ed has kind words for Japan: "... all of us have been really touched by how kind you are and gentle ... polite and you seem to respect each other ... you should be really proud of yourselves. Thanks for having us."

no problem bud! I freaking love those silver pressed cd's from the 90's. I'm constantly on the hunt for them. I got "aussie dynamos" the other day for 9.99!

Awesome deal! Love that boot. It seems like 1995 was the high water mark for unofficial bootlegs.

rarefied and live promo, along with the Australian promo Live at Fox Theater Apr 3rd 1994, are two of my favorite items in my collection.. And I got lucky with them: got the first for 30 euro in mint condition at a record/music store in Italy (obviously they didn't know what they had in their hands), and the second one in mint condition for 50 euro on Ebay in 2009 (or 2010)..
1995 and 1994 are definitely the best in my book, I don't mean to say the other years or recent years are not good, but that period was on a different level for me.

that is awesome that you picked them up for so cheap! they are on ebay right now for $150; way too much for me.

Is this going to be a reoccurring theme for all of the Asia/Australia leg of the 1995 tour? I have some great memories to share of March 11 at Eastern Creek the night my life changed when I saw my first show
