Getting to the Show - Meadowlands

Has anyone ever taken the bus from the Port Authority to the Meadowlands for a concert? There's no freaking taxis that will pick up after the show. Any suggestions?

    yes all the time, did it last night too...you'll be fine...just get there no earlier then 5

    The bus situation for last night's show sucked. I got to Port Authority a little after 7pm, and joined a line of least six hundred people outside in a thunderstorm waiting for buses that didn't start arriving until after 8pm. We didn't get to Continental Arena 'til almost 9pm. Lucky for us, the band didn't go on 'til a bit after 9pm, but there was never a chance of catching My Morning Jacket. Hopefully, by Saturday the PA will have figured out that's there's a *concert* at the *arena* and provide enough buses at different intervals to accomodate all. To be on the safe side, you might want to get to Port Authority before 7pm.

    There were plenty of buses after 5 last night, but they got stuck in traffic because the Lincoln Tunnel closed down for 30 minutes or so. I got on one a little bit before 6--after an hour and a half of driving around midtown we finally made it to the Meadowlands and the bus could go back to Port Authority for more people. So that's where all the buses were.

    bus was great for me, caught the first bus @ 5:00 got there in no time, right by box office, picked up fan club tics & partied for 3 hours

    i don't think you'd have a problem on a saturday. but just in case, leave as early as possible. you never know with the lincoln tunnel.

    I got to Port Authority at 5:30pm last night and had no problem getting on a bus, it was quite dead at that time. However, my bus driver had no idea where he was going. He got off at the wrong exit in Jersey, and a passenger had to direct him back to the highway to get to the venue. We didn't get there till 7pm.

    The bus ride back was a breeze, made it back to Port Authority in about 25 minutes.
