You could make a pretty good argument for a few Band songs. So amazing. The sound of true American music. Glad to see there seems to be a resurgence in their notoriety and influence on music.

The Weight is so many things that make a great song. Great story with the lyric, nice playing without being very technical at all, beautiful harmonies full of charm, probably the greatest campfire singalong you could ever have.

They're just a little bit too "classic rocky" for me in this kind of generic kind of way that I can't quite put my finger on. I love my classic rock, but I dunno... these guys just have something about them that doesn't quite do it for me for some reason, and I've actually tried, since so many like them so much. They aren't bad at all. They're good. but I usually just feel kind of unaffected when I listen to them.
