Sound at shows

I think the mix is good but one thing that's been bothering me is the tone of the hi hat and cymbals. They've got this high end frequency that makes it grating after a while and it interferes with the vocals. Also I think the guitars could be a little more up front also. Would just be a minor adjustment at the sound board. Anyone know the sound engineer? Pass it on. Thanks.

  • Venue acoustics and seat location have a lot to do with it. I've been to 2 PJ shows (Hershey & East Rutherford 1) and the sound was absolutely horrible in the bleachers at both shows...worst sound I've ever heard at a concert....while other people who were on the floor said it sounded great.

WPB was the worst out of my three.

Roo was incredible and Columbia was far better than I thought it was going to sound

Overall the sound at Camden two from where I was sitting (section 204: Stones Side) it sounded pretty good and balanced except you couldnt' really hear Mike until they cranked his volume for the solos which was pretty cool!
Last time around I was on the grass in Hartford and the sound was shit.
