    If it's real, anyway. I saw on Facebook that some poor sucker bought a fake copy for almost $250 or something like that.

    i was thinking exactly the same thing. and the schmuck with the $299 BIN calls that lost dog NM. so now corner dings that are visibly bent are NM? questionable.

    I'm finding that the ratings are way off more often than not now. A VG+ isn't even supposed to have surface noise, but so many records being sold as VG+s have fucking pops and crackling throughout. It's really pissing me off.

    I always liked the crackles and pops... its what makes vinyl vinyl. Otherwise they woulda never digitized music. :0)

    ???? Vinyl in good condition should not crackle and pop. All you're hearing is damaged vinyl thst wasn't treated very well (or maybe defective vinyl). It is not what makes vinyl vinyl.

    Well for me it is. All my records from the 70's crackle and pop and I love it. I hope you will permit me to enjoy these beautiful imperfections.

    P.S. nothing is perfect. :0)

    I don't mind the crackle and pops too, you can't find an old record that doesn't do it.

    I'm with you on the old records pop and a lil crackle every now and then, but to spend serious $$ on a record vg+ to skip, crack, or make any pop is total bull shit!!! That would be grounds for a refund!!

    I bought a tom petty damn the torpedoes vinyl off fleabay....had a copy but wanted to upgrade to a better copy....the pics showed a perfect cover, sleeve, and excellent record and was graded as vg++, well I bid $5 plus $3 for shipping, I was excited to get a nicer copy for cheap!!! Well when it arrived the cover was beat to hell and faded horribly, the sleeve was ripped and mangled, and the record had tons of scuffs, scratches, pops, and skipped.....I was pissed!!!! I contacted the seller and got my money back because of the description and he used different pics for the auction. Didn't ask for a refund because of the money because it was cheap, but just the fact that he put up different pics and had graded it so well I thought he should give me my money back! Makes me wonder how many people get screwed off of buying from eBay.....I know I won't but anything unless it's sealed and brand new!

    Then I don't have many good records. I have close to 100 albums I have bought and most have pops and surface noise. That is how they came. I even cleaned most of them and they don't sound much better. Also moat have dinged corners when I open them up for. The shipping box. Even before I unreal it. He'll my vault 4 had ripped sleeves and surface noise. It's been played once, should it be listed as poor? Not sure but I am close to giving up on vinyl as even though it's fun and I enjoy the experience there are many issues with the quality of the product.
