    go down to your local guitar shop and pick up a few. you could get a real nice acoustic for around $300. good luck!

    Look, not trying to be all high and mighty here. You should sell your stuff for cash, go down to your local music shop and try out some acoustics. I've been playing for more than 20 years and each instrument has a different feel. I'd hate for you to trade someone for a guitar you have a hard time fretting, or you get one with a warped neck.

    you are probably right, but I also know there are lots of people who buy things they never use. Maybe they would let something go at a nice price :)

    I tried to play when I was younger but never had lessons so I could never get it, what would be a good guitar to start out on??

    Hey, its a good point and I totally understand where you're coming from. I had a manager as a teenager who bought a Les Paul and never played the fucking thing. Just wanted to have one. Anyway, best of luck in your adventure! Playing music is a really great hobby to take up!
