I haven't seen it yet but I have heard excellent things. Bob Odenkirk is awesome.
On a side note, maybe this thread belongs in AET.
dignin, if there's anyway a television show thread can morph into a political no-holds-barred discussion, this group can do it! We'll throw in a few hangings, some burgers (bacon for BS, ) and some oddball music/cultural exchanges and watch this baby fly!

I think you may be right about that Brian, so I withdraw my earlier post......evolve away!
I wish I'd watched all of BB (not THAT BB ) but I've heard good things about this show.
Will those of us not in the know of its predecessor still be able to get into it?
Yes you will be able to follow the show easily. There will be some parts that people that didn't watch BB will be confused about. Like the opening scene from the pilot episode. Without watching the second to last breaking bad, you won't know what he's doing. But it will stand on its own as a good show with a few BB references mixed in as we go along.
So far it is a true prequel with a lot of character tie-ins and we're only on the first episode. It will stand on it's own but knowing the characters makes it much more enjoyable.
