Is Stone playing an Am 2x as opposed to Am --> C which I believe is the correct way? Has this been discussed before?

    I think he interchanges it. I can't remember which videos but I've seen him do both

    also wondering if Stone is playing C correctly but it's Jeff's A (maybe by mistake?) that is dominating the chord and turning Stone's C into an Am/Am7?

    For a LONG time, I heard a Bmaj instead of Bm (circa 2000,2003,2006) when Mike would open..maybe my ears suck

    I am sure Jimi did it both ways..you can stay on the Am for the full bar or go to the C....the difference is just one note.
