He's facing John Frusciante, and so far he's losing by quite a bit. So lets show him some support and even out the poll!

I don't think he's gonna come back from this one. Mike getting smoked.

On a side note: I recently started binge watching Shameless. After one of the shows, I was surprised to see in the credits, music by Mike McCready

Voted. Can you vote more than once? Im so sick and tired of people not giving Mike the due credit of the freak shredder that he is.
  • Pft, Mike is really underrated. Every vote counts for him now I see. Behind with much...

Sorry, but I would think frusciante is better.

Froosh has proven to be a much better guitarist over the long haul. The only real aspect that McCready has on him is speed. Also, McCready only made it this far b/c the PJ fan community's online presence. He should've been shut out last round.

Froosh is good. But I just don't see him better than Mike.

I think just 3, but he was pretty much the mastermind behind all of them. Just about any one RHCP album is on par or beyond Mike's contributions to PJ.

He was the main creative force on Californication, By the Way, and Stadium Arcadium. Not only guitar, but background vocals, synths and any other studio effects. Mike has never contributed more than a few songs to any albums and he didn't really get going til Yield, and he's never shown the imagination that Frusiante has shown.

Another big aspect is influence on other guitarists and that's not even a discussion. There are thousands of guitar player that worship at the altar of Froosh and Mccready's influence is virtually non-existent.

When your here, probably not the best thing to say. Just saying.
  • Two of my favorite guitarists ever. John is an absolute genius. Impossible to pick.

Watch this nearly every day. It's good for my brain.
