Santos: will the 12th man shirts go on sale now?

zmanzman Posts: 502
thoughts? id like to get one now that the game is over as a PJ keepsake, but its not really with the $31 with shipping to get it now. the hype is over, and the people that paid full price obviously paid to get them in time for the hype, but putting them on sale now will generate some some additional funding for the charity.

Comments

  • I doubt it, especially not so quickly. Otherwise they are just discouraging people from buying for full price next time.

Wait, people STILL didn't receive these shirts? What the fuck is wrong with the merch people in 10C? What the fuck are they doing that they can't ship these? Straight horse shit
  • zmanzman Posts: 502
not true, if it was a patriots shirt, i woulda been all over it first day, so i could have it in time for the game.
  • zmanzman Posts: 502
anyone who really wanted it in time for the game would buy it pre sale price. it wont discourage anyone who really wants it

I received the one I ordered from Ames Bros on Saturday,
But the one ordered from 10 Club still hasn't arrived yet...and it shipped 2 days before the Ames shirt.
The 10 Club shirt was here in Columbus last Thursday,
but for some reason, with this Mail Innovations service where they have to transfer the package to the USPS for delivery (I still can't see how this is innovative or efficient!!) I probably won't get it until Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.

I hope your shirt isn't with my hoodies that I ordered on Nov. 29th. It could take up to 90 days to arrive, according to 10C. What a fucking shit show, 3 months to ship two hoodies.

Probably not. It's not like the Seahawks franchise completely collapsed and will never play football again. They were limited. They'll probably leave 'em in the store until they sell out. I'm sure enough Seahawks fans will buy them. Did everyone stop being a Seahawks game because they didn't win two superbowl's in a row?

There's always next year. I wear my Red Wings PJ Tshirt and the Wings haven't won a cup since '08.

Ordered mine within minutes of it being offered to wear day of the game. Not yet recieved. I'd possibly trade it for another pj/EV shirt if anyone wants to. I'm kind of annoyed I didn't get it in time and doubt I'll wear it. Impulse buy that I regret now.

Sooooo what's the issue or excuse for not having these sent out on time? The snow? The shirts came fucked up? Vacation? Like nobody in that merch place sees the shirts all pilled up in boxes and says,"shit, the games almost here! We have to send these out!" Or are they to busy smoking weed in the alley to remember they have a job to do? Seems like ever since it became legal in WA, shits not getting done. Just saying.

It's the same problem the 10c always has. They're a mom and pop organization running both the fan club and the band's merch. I don't think they have that much staff. That's generally why it takes them a little while to get stuff done. There's both pro's and cons to it. Other fan club use big corporate companies like fan fire to run their fan club/merch operations, but there's drawbacks to that too. 10c as an independant seems to be the only fan club that can score all the best seats as their limited allocation of 10c tickets (where as seats for most corporately run fan clubs are scattered through the arena).

This is one of those things that says "limited," but clearly isn't THAT "limited," being they still have every size 2+ weeks after they went on sale.

It would have been nice to receive this shirt before the game...
and according to the UPS tracking...it WAS possible,
because my shirt arrived in Columbus on Thursday!!
BUT, I'm used to having low expectations when it come to PJ merch,
and I'm more surprised when my merch DOES arrive in a timely manner.
I really can't get upset with 10 Club this time either,
because they did warn us when we purchased these shirts,
that there was NO GUARANTEE these would arrive before Super Bowl weekend!!

They're just covering their asses Dave. When was the last time the holiday single actually arrived for the holidays? My vault 4's were supposed to be originally delivered on jan 19th. And now it says feb 4th. How is that even possible? Almost 3 weeks AFTER the original date? And I've got a raffle winner waiting on his vault 4 that he won. Shits not right. Economy is shitty unless you're pearl jam. Hire some help, people looking for jobs all the time. Shit, I'll take the job. Legal greens and work/live in Seattle for pearl jam. Fuck me, sign me up. I'll make sure everyone gets their shit on time and not make lame ass excuses. The shirts have no reason to be still not delivered. How the hell can u NOT have these out already?

If 10 Club had used USPS / first class mail to ship my shirt,
    like Ames Bros did,
it would have been delivered by Saturday at the latest.
I still think one of the BIG problems is the UPS Mail Innovations service they use.
You'll just never convince me that it's more efficient or "green" to deliver these items using 2 different services instead of just one.
The transfer of the packages from UPS to USPS,
ALWAYS adds 2 or 3 days to the delivery time for me!!
