I went to the Jack White show last night and he was fantastic. Great band and great show. Q-Tip came out for a couple of songs, which was great. I definitely recommend this tour. Also, you can check out the show on Pandora , which is replaying it for the next couple of days.

Here are a few photos I took:

What camera did you use? I felt the lighting was terrible for photos. I usually bring my Sony RX100 but I was afraid Jack White's disdain of cameras may have caused issues as I was in the front GA pit.

All my photos are off the iPhone 6.

Yeah - lighting was rough, plus he moves around a lot! I used a Sony DSC-HX1, which is pretty good for concerts (just a bit bigger than the average point and shoot0.
I was on side of stage and I never use a flash or hold it above my head, so i was pretty low key with it. And I didnt take a ton of photos but with those seats, I had to take a few!

  • Wow, those are great pics. Very cool.

That show was fantastic. He was fired up and really rocked MSG.

Still can't believe Zack De La Rocha came up in the opener too.

Does he usually have all of his shows video recorded like PJ? I noticed the entire show being recorded on video by a guy or two on stage. Think there is a potential for a DVD release?

Does anyone know who the guitarist was that took the stage with Run The Jewels?

Would also love to get this Pandora broadcast ripped in mp3. Have you guys seen it yet?

    Thanks!

Thanks! I was wondering the same thing about a live release- i'd love to pick up a few shows. he seems to mix his sets up a bit - i wish he had played two nights at MSG!

  • Where was Zach DeLa Rocha at?
  • He played with the opening act Run the Jewels. He sings on a track with them.
