reminding the present of where you have been
Casting a light on a plausible tomorrow
The future is what's shadowed and dim

Back there you were a child, innocent and bright
memories of mom baking, or dad with a kite
Back there is a place where the answers are clear
Oh take me back there, for into each tomorrow
