    oh, I was expecting some audiophile answer in how that would mess up or distort the sound or something.

    But yea, keep those pc's, xbox's, and receivers nice and cool.

    I keep mine on my receiver too. The TT isn't flush on it (same with on this video), so I figure there is enough space between the two units to allow the receiver to stay cool. I don't see it being an issue.

    As long as it doesn't block any ventilation holes in the receiver you should be ok. Ideally however a turntable should have its own dedicated space.

    Ha, I ripped open a sealed one a little over a year ago but don't have the video anymore. It was basically me unwrapping it with one hand and giving the finger in the other going "wheewwwww".

    Sent it to a few folks on here but that's it.
