Best shows of the new millennium? The ones you were at.

Apparently people think the new millennium is only 5 years old.

Benaroya Hall and it may not even be close.

If you asked me to pick one concert in the bands history to attend, it would be Benaroya Hall

as side note, Moline 2014 is a special performance in the band's history and was totally fucking badass

PJ20 will be hard to top for me...
but both Wrigley & Moline came pretty close!!
Other GREAT shows I've attended are Detroit '14, Pittsburgh '13 & Missoula '12!!
I love all 3 of the shows from The Gorge & still find myself listening to these boots on a regular basis.
I also play the Hartford & OKC boots from last year when I hit the road for long roadtrips.
The Leeds & Milton Keynes shows are moving up my list as well.
Benny Hall is just okay for me...
Not really into the whole acoustic show vibe,
and the audio feedback in Man Of the Hour really bugs me.

Why is Charlottesville an obvious choice? It was good but there were many other shows better than it that year. What makes Charlottesville such a lock?

I was at it along with a bunch of others in 2013/2014, and its easily one of the best shows I've been to, and not just from the lightning bolt tour.

What is the big deal with Detroit? Is it only because Black Red Yellow, Oceans and Light Years. Just trying to understand. I've heard the boot and just want to know if I missed something.

    Moline, Vic, Milwaukee, Spokane.

I was at Moline and Milwaukee along with Detroit. Detroit was louder and had more energy than both in my opinion. Moline and Milwaukee were awesome, but I think get hype just because of the albums being played in order more than anything.

Because it is my opinion. And the question is asking for opinions. Evidence for my opinion would include the fan views, the sound quality of the boot/show/arena (boot sound is by far one of the best), and the fact that PJ used the show to advertise their summer 2014 euro tour (so apparently they were pretty impressed with the show themselves). Ofcourse, I was there which further strengthens my opinion. Oh, and I think there was a poll for the 2013 shows and Cville blew the others way. I put this last because, well, polls are just a bunch of opinions. Enjoy all the other shows that were better that year because that is your opinion.
