For Sale - Mike McCready '59 Strat Relic

Asking $2500 while my total output into it is over $3000. This just isn't a art piece, you won't find a better playing and sounding strat anywhere.

2007 fender 60's road worn neck - $350

Lindy Fralin Vintage Hot pickups - $250

McCready Relic Process done by Vic Geanopulos of players guitar works- $1500

Stripped poly finish then did a new custom 3 tone burst finish with a nitrocellulous lacquer coating and then the exact McCready heavy relic.

    aw man, i remember when you were building this guitar. always thought it was awesome. had i known you were going to sell it i would have held off on the '76 gibson firebird i recently purchased. I will email the other guitar player in my band to see if he might be interested. mccready is a huge influence of his.

    Aww man can't you sell one of your kids instead of this guitar? ;) I absolutely just love this guitar. I wonder when mccready got his amd how long it took to get the mccready appearance. Again, good luck with your sale.

    It's a shame you have to sell the guitar.

    It wouldn't take much to get Mike to sign it. You could auction off the guitar with proceeds going to charity, should do very nicely.

    I ve been playing the lottery every night. If I win I m buying it for three grand....shipping on you. I pretty much have Ed s tele so this would be a sweet one to add to the collection.
    Just to keep this to the top: what do you think stone s signature guitar would be? Some sort of les Paul?

    This guitar looks awesome.
    While I offer no money, just a bump, your posting inspired me to get my Strat out of storage, restring it, and give it some love. I noticed my Strat had some minor wear, and I thought, if I can just play this thing for another 400 hours, maybe I can get it looking like the '59!
