Crohn's disease - Mesenchymal stem cells

MSCs are proving effective in treatment of canine Crohn's - please see the link below:

http://sites.tufts.edu/progressnotes/2014/12/pets-benefit-with-access-to-state-of-the-art-research-studies/#more-1511

6 of 6 dogs healed in this trial.......MSCs have MASSIVE potential in terms of treating a variety of disease indications (MS, Crohn's, Uvetis, to name a few).

Once fully embraced, this will be a paradigm shift over the next 10-15 yrs for medicine.

The research into Crohn's has leapfrogged in the last ten years or so. This can only be good. I was diagnosed with it back in '97, underwent surgery in 2000. Then two years ago, I thought I was having a flare-up, but got diagnosed with Coeliac diesease too. Sucks to be me!

10-15 years seems a good bet to me on finding some life-changing results, not just for Crohn's, but for other things out there.
