A great performance in this years IIHF world junior ice hockey tourny...You boys did all Canadian hockey fans proud by really winning the competiton in style; didn't trail in a game even once. Awesome future for some of those Canadian players in the nhl. Domi's line was unstoppable. Congrats to the Duke for representing the rangers.

The juniors are a welcome highlight of the holiday season. A Canada/Russia final is always a crowd pleaser. I hope this feeling lasts a while....cause the Leafs are about 42 days away from their scheduled collapse/choke episode of yet another season.....argh.

RR, most of those guys were already drafted buddy. The duke plays for my rangers and domi was drafted by the coyotes.

I was at the gold medal game and let me just say that was UNREAL!! Like many of you I'm sure you thought there was a blow out about the happen at 5-1....me too!
Then those 3 goals happened, I turned to my wife and said we are going to be in for one hell of a 3rd period....just WOW!
What a great experience!

Good on you Black. I was sort of glad for the Russian comeback because it did make for a great third. the Jnats kept them on the boards nicely. I think the Ruskies had only one or two real good scoring chances in the third. Nurse really nursed that win for us in the third. He was still a surprise choice for player of the game.
this is how messed up the leafs are. their record when they fired the coach was like 21/16/3 or something very similar. so the Buds have a coach with a winning record....and they can him 8-}

I wonder if Mayor Tory will give Kessel a tow out of town for holding up the rest of the team while he finishes sucking on his thumb after nap time. It goes to show though...the US didn't make the medals this year again and we have a US player anchoring canada's greatest pro team......what a disaster L-)
