Pono Vs. Composer Tags

Anyone else notice the composer tags filled in on the Pono version of Vs?

I thought this was interesting. I wonder where they came from, and if they're correct.

    They seem to be correct. We know from PJ20 that Daughter was written by Stone and Eddie in a tour bus. Eddie definitely wrote Rearviewmirror and Small Town (if he plays guitar on it live, then he probably wrote it).

    It is interesting, since they made the decision when the album came out to give credit to each member for every song.
  • Yes, they are all correct. Ed wrote lyrics for the entire album & anyone mentioned prior to him wrote the music. If only Ed is mentioned, he wrote music & lyrics.

    I'm not sure what's meant by this post. Did you think the guys in PJ didn't write any of these songs?

    In the album credits it lists all 5 members of Pearl Jam for every song.

    Yeah, they did that so that each member got credit for the publishing rights. I found out by watching the R.E.M. on MTV documentary that R.E.M. did the same thing. So, the publishing can be different from who composed it.

    Okay. I always thought something might be off with the credits on the album. Especially after later albums. Didn't think Dave wrote that much on Vs really
