Prophet jesus. Whenever I say jesus, I say the Spanish version. Like sorrano from major league.

I saw Jesus (as in hay-seuss) once in 1963. He was out in the fields with his brothers, Felipe and Matte. There was a great fog that lay upon the land and many bright lights in the sky and a great booming voice that saith unto the flock, "And now pinch hitting for Orlando Cepeda, number 16, Jim Ray Hart".

you're making that up, because jim ray wouldn't have been hitting with jesus, felipe and matty in the field.....but I catch your drift.
If I had known then what I know now...

Ahhhhh DANG ME! Who was that pinch hitter anyway? Why can't I remember?? It was only 51 years ago- 1963. Hahaha!

The truth is though (so help me Hayseuss) I actually did get to see all three Alou brothers in the outfield at the same time in the same game at good old Candlestick Park. In fact, I think Juan Marichal may have pitched that game. Talk about gods! Wow!
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
