Food hangover.

Don't know that I've ever quite experienced this quite this much before, but I'm having a hell of a food hangover today. Went to a family and friends holiday party yesterday and only had a few drinks over the course of about 5 hours so I know it's not the booze. But the food was too much- not bad, no it was great, just too much including things I normally avoid like dairy and non-poultry or fish meat.

Sure glad it's my day off. M-o-o-o-o-an.

:-))

We had our holiday party last week, and a chick I work with, who is one of the healthiest eaters I know, got sick that evening because of OD'ing on food she normally doesn't indulge in.

It's like weighing the scales (not literally!) - do I partake and suffer the consequences, or abstain and wish I hadn't?

Nice to know you can use the day to recover 3:-O

Highly recommend hot tea (peppermint, cham or decaf green) with lots of rock candy.

I've been in a near sugar coma for a week.Im waking up in the morning and my eyes feel heavy and my skin hurts. We get ALOT of gifts at my office and everyday there is new stuff to try.(you don't want the giver feeling bad like you didn't try the stuff right? That would be rude) to top it off last night I was talked into eating a large cup of Butterscotch pudding when out to dinner.I don't think I was this amped in the 80s during our serious party era.feeling your pain guys.

  • I recommend a good shot of raw Apple Cider Vinegar followed by some warm water. Good for detox and digestion. My body lets me know right away when I had something nasty, it leaves me as fast as it went in lol I always try to chew on some caraway seeds after overindulging. It seems to calm my belly down. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks, Leeze. I have some good Apple Cider Vinegar. I'll try it!
