aaahhhhh, just got back from Munich. Just amazing, blown away really.
Boys havent played for two nights and you could feel it that they had to get rid of the energy once again... No chance to stop, chill out, relax a bit. You been just thrown into it again and again.
EVEN FLOW blown. REAR VIEW MIRROR - man! and PRESENT TENSE.... absolutely fcking amazing.
Just surpriced it wasnt a full house party yesterday, reckon just 60/70% of the capacity... but who cares.
tks once again.

I Can`t believe they play fu**ing Germany. They don`t understand what Pearl Jam is all about. Germans just listen to Heavy Metal. I hope Pearl Jam are ready for å sell out show in Norway next year.
Nice set yesterday :-)
so whats pearl jam all about? please tell me, cause i'm german, i'm going to see them on the southside festival and i really need to get enlighted!
besides... why should they play in norway? freezin their balls off in front of a ignorant audience? ahhh... i'm just kidding... i won't be as ignorant as you are... cause i like scandinavia and the people there. but i think i don't like... you

I Don`t talk about all of you, but it`s not a secret that Pearl Jam isn`t that big in Germany.
Of course you like scandinavia. Everyone does :-)
Coming from Norway that's quite a funny one since they some kind of invented Black Metal, I think (not to forget the mighty a-ha)... :-)
But honestly, I think it wasn't totally packed because lot of potential goers will see them at the Southside Festival (not that far away) and, since going to a festival is quite expensive, didn't want to pay twice. The same problem will occur next week in Düsseldorf, lots of people I know will see them at the Hurricane and skip the Düsseldorf show because of that.

so germans got the heavy metal yesterday indeed...
intense, no stopping, loaded. what a night. what a setlist... they just tored us apart ... no mercy.
That's terrible. I was looking at going to Munich, but the flights were just too expensive. Wish I'd have gone now!
The show itself was incredible, we were very loud from begining to end, with the eception of No More War, the sound was weird with a realy strong echo. Eddie said early in the show that we were the best crowd this year, he apologised fo not talking in german because he was to drunk.
They were definitely taping the show, they placed the microphones for the crowd before the concert started, the show has been videotaped to, Ed even joked with his cigarette looking at the camera, he left his cigaretts on Booms organ when he went on the stage. He came to Stones side where we were some times during the shows, Mike came in at the end and give a pick to someone, Stone spent quite a lote of time in front of us to, he seemed to have a great fun, I think Ed coppied his duck dance in the begining. The setlist was just blowing us away song after song. I noticed that Ed made a sign to Matt after Baba to cutt it of, with his hand in front of his neck. When he came in front of us at the end hs eyes were very red and his voice was very raspy at times so maybe he didn't want to push it. The show wasn't short and the encore breakes were very short ,but i've read that there were a couple of songs on the setlist that weren't performed.
The show was full of highlightes I realy hope the travel packeg fans will get the cd, and pass it around. That reminds me there were baloons with "Crazy Mary" writen on them.
No, he said, that he might try it LATER, AFTER he got drunk enough......
The flights weren't that expensive(£180 return for me and my girlfriend from Manchester)
Now the hotel, that's another matter it cost us £360 for two nights, and because we had an early flight on wednesday morning we only spent 2 hours in the hotel on the second night.
Plus having to pay £90 for my ticket off Ebay(i missed the email about the 10c presale)it turned into quite an expensive trip
Still, it was worth it to see the mighty PJ, and that setlist was Amazing.
